Electronic Medical Records

A big debate in Congress right now is the issue of providing patients with medical records in an electronic format. Sounds like a good idea. Consumer driven health, what does that mean? How can a consumer drive health care costs without the proper information? Google and Cleveland Clinic should be commended for introducing electronic data storage. But does that really solve the issue? We hear so often about personal records being stolen? Card card information with sensitive information like social security and drivers license data. How safe is our personal medical information on a third parties website?
